Kirsty Coxon

Kirsty describes in her own words her key skills and why she loves working at The Courtyard:

Hello, My name is Kirsty. Let me tell you a little about myself, my role with The Courtyard and why I love working here so much!

I qualified from Sheffield University in 2008 as a Dental Hygiene Therapist.
I have worked within The Courtyard now for over a year, and in my time here my client base has increased and my skills improved immensely.

I provide preventative and periodontal treatments for both adults and children, however I mainly provide high quality white fillings. This is my passion and I really have found my love in this area of dentistry. I pride myself on making sure every client I see walks away with a tooth that looks life like and feels like a natural tooth.
Clients often ask where the filling is as they look in the mirror to observe my work, as it looks and feels so natural. 


My role within The Courtyard is to work hand in hand with Marcos in a very close professional relationship.
Marcos has spent many enthusiastic hours and days with me to help improve my skills and bring out the best in my cosmetic dentistry skills. We see many of our clients together to achieve the best as a team and to help provide the ultimate smile.


I play a huge part within the Courtyard team with invisalign cases. Marcos consults with myself and the client to establish their needs for invisalign and their treatment schedule. I particularly enjoy invisalign cases, as the results are excellent and provide our clients with the utmost happiness of having such beautiful, straight, white teeth. Each and every stage of the process is fulfilling for myself from the consultation, record taking, fitting the appliance right through to the end result photo shoot. It is just so fantastic to see how happy and content the client feels, you instantly see their confidence shine through. 


My professional passion is cosmetic dentistry, especially providing such high quality white fillings. I enjoy mastering all of the skills and techniques that Marcos provides to his clients. I shadow Marcos on many occasions, not only to experience the amazing atmosphere he creates in surgery with his clients and nurses, but to learn many of his cosmetic dentistry skills that he demonstrates.


And finally .... I love to talk and spend time getting to know my clients on an individual basis and building rapport that inspires trust and confidence."
