Botox

Botox and Dermal fillers are used for improving the appearance of frown lines and wrinkles on the forehead and crows feet

They work by relaxing the muscles and plumping up the creases that make these lines occur, the overall effect is to make you look younger and increase your self confidence.

Performed in relaxed surroundings by experienced cosmetic dentist and practice owner Marcos White, the procedure takes about 10 minutes.

The cosmetic dentist is best suited to performing this procedure because of a combination of an appreciation of beauty, a knowledge of science and a familiarity with working with fine needles.

Since the procedure is non surgical, no recovery time is needed. After Botox and Dermal filler cosmetic treatments you can get back to work or other activities right away.

Botox will normally be sustained for approximately 3 months and Dermal filler treatments typically lasts for 12 months.

Marcos White's Fact file

'Botox is proving an ever more popular way to keep looking your best. Aswell as seeing many new clients for treatment the service sits very well with cosmetic dentistry and means that after clients have gotten their smile sorted out, they will jokingly ask if there's anything I can do about their lines. And the answer is of course there is.'

'After a quick chat through what the client is looking to improve on it truly takes no more than 15 minutes to actually administer the botox. And the question everyone wants to ask - Does it hurt? No. How do I know? Because I've been on the receiving end aswell of course. It really doesn't hurt.'

'Results are dramatic but natural looking. Botox technique has come a long way since everyone was given a permanently blank look. Now we know how to be more sophisticated in the way we deliver the dose meaning that we can create amazingly smooth results while still allowing freedom of expression'.

'When asked how quickly the results are visible I like to say that within 3 days you'll imagine you can see the difference and in 3 weeks you actually will. That's how long it takes for the muscle to be fully affected and the results stay for about 3 months.'
